Approach

Shireen is an executive coach (ICF PCC) working with senior and fast-progressing leaders in financial and professional services, as well as founders and leadership teams in high-growth businesses.

Clients value Shireen’s down-to-earth manner, humour and straight-talking challenge. She often works with clients at high-stakes inflection points, when familiar ways of operating start to strain. At the heart of her work is helping clients step back for new perspectives, and step in for deeper self-awareness – so they lead more authentically and energetically and feel more fulfilled beyond work.

Shireen’s clients are often navigating high-pressure transitions such as stepping into bigger roles, leading in demanding investor-backed environments, or balancing leadership with family or health changes, while others are tackling internal barriers such as imposter syndrome or relational issues.

Shireen’s approach is integrated, drawing on evidence-based executive, person-centred and psychologically informed coaching models and frameworks. She attunes to each client’s neurocognitive style, and the contexts in which they struggle or thrive, supporting them to harness their natural strengths.

She has advanced training in neuroscience-informed, internal family systems and neurodiversity coaching (PCAC, Professional Association for ADHD Coaches) and is experienced at supporting neurodiverse leaders.

Background

Before coaching, Shireen worked in asset management and investment banking at UBS, advising on IPO, M&A and private equity LBO transactions, before moving into startups and scaleups as a founder, leader and consultant. She has lived internationally and speaks Arabic and Spanish.  She is also the mother of two exceedingly energetic boys and understands the realities of balancing leadership and family life.
