Robin Cartwright

Robin is an experienced executive coach with a focus on transformational coaching relationships to further careers, enable transitions, and/or grow businesses. He works with senior leaders including those working at board level, in private equity, Big Four, investment funds, financial institutions and non-profits. Robin has a particular interest in Partnership structures and understands first-hand the complexities and nuances of operating as a Partner. This makes him an ideal coach for those stepping into the role of Partner or for established Partners moving into senior leadership of board-level responsibilities. Robin is also a trained mental fitness coach, and he applies these skills with clients who want to build their resilience in these uncertain times.
Robin’s style is open, informal, and honest. He is passionate about creating trusting and honest relationships with clients and helping them get to the ‘truth’ of a career or professional situation by taking the time to understand their core beliefs. He then supports and encourages his clients towards a credible plan for change. Robin cares deeply about his clients and understands that whilst the topics brought to coaching are often serious, sometimes humour can help ease the relationship and encourage his clients to be as open as they feel they can be within coaching.
Prior to coaching, Robin was a Partner at KPMG for 14 years in Management Consulting, focusing on M&A strategy and organisational change. He was also an Executive Director at UK Government Investments (HM Treasury) working on board effectiveness & governance, and a Director at Social Finance, the leading social investment boutique. He started his career in government security and intelligence.
