Fiona Partington

Fiona’s coaching style is thoughtful, compassionate and gently challenging. She believes that lasting change comes through honest conversation, curiosity and reflection. She helps people explore questions like: ‘What matters most now?’ ‘What strengths do I bring?’ ‘What is holding me back?’ By creating a safe, supportive environment, she helps clients gain clarity, reconnect with their values and take meaningful action.
She has been described as “an incredibly calm, empowering and positive presence, regardless of what scenario I bring to her.”
Fiona works with people at significant transition points in their lives and careers. Many of her clients are navigating career change, returning to work after time away, questioning what comes next, or rebuilding confidence after a period of challenge. She has a particular interest in supporting people after cancer treatment, helping them explore what their ‘new normal’ means and how they want to move forward personally and professionally.
With more than 20 years’ experience in HR, leadership development and client-facing roles, Fiona understands how closely our work is connected to our confidence, identity and sense of purpose. Coaching is a natural extension of the work she has always loved: creating a trusted space where people can pause, think clearly and move forward with greater confidence.
Before becoming a professional coach, she built a career spanning HR Business Partnering, digital learning, leadership development and award-winning project management across organisations including Citigroup, City & Guilds and the learning and communications sector.
Alongside her private coaching practice, Fiona coaches with Future Dreams, supporting women living with and beyond breast cancer. As a breast cancer survivor herself, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to this work, alongside optimism, empathy and an unwavering belief in people’s capacity to thrive through change.
