David is a trilingual former banker based in London. As an executive coach, he specialises in helping individuals and teams address real work challenges, such as difficult workplace relationships and role transitions. Through coaching and facilitation, David’s clients gain awareness of their behaviour and thought patterns, experimenting with new skills and mindsets to drive learning and problem-solving. With a focus on Asia and Europe, David’s diverse clientele includes private sector entities such as business schools, financial services, luxury brands, and professional firms, as well as public sector international organisations based in Geneva.
With over 20 years of experience at HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank, David has held roles in corporate banking and leadership development, spanning Retail Banking, Trade Finance, Project Finance, and Corporate Credit. He has facilitated and coached globally, leading initiatives in Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul, Gaborone, London, and Dubai, in addition to overseeing a global leadership development programme. Passionate about continuous learning, David is currently training to become a systemic family therapist, believing that adopting a learner role enhances the learning process for his clients. He holds a coaching certificate from Tavistock Consulting, an MBA from INSEAD, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Hong Kong. David has acquired international experience across various sectors through his time in Hong Kong, Fontainebleau, Shanghai, Beijing, and Geneva. He is married with two young children.
